The Female Baya Weaver returning home. Baya Weaver are found in grasslands and secondary growth . They build their oval shaped nests woven from leaves. These nest colonies are usually found on thorny trees and are often built near water or hanging over water where predators cannot reach easily. They are widespread in Singapore during the breeding seasons.
